Τους Βρετανούς OZRIC TENTACLES δε θα τους αποκαλούσες συγκρότημα με την στενή έννοια του όρου, αλλά περισσότερο μια παρέα φίλων ''hippies'' που από την αρχή της δημιουργίας τους στο μακρινό 1983 και για σχεδόν τέσσερις δεκαετίες, μας προσφέρουν το δικό τους μοναδικό psychedelic, ambient, progressive space rock και μας καλούν να διασχίσουμε ονειρεμένα μουσικά τοπία, χαρίζοντας μας αμέτρητα μουσικά ρίγη!!
Μπροστάρης όλης αυτής της ''παρέας'' μουσικών (και μοναδικό σταθερό μέλος που έχει απομείνει) είναι ο Ed Wynne (κιθαρίστας ,συνθεσαίζερ, προγραμματιστής), ο οποίος έχει γράψει αμέτρητα τραγούδια υπηρετώντας σωστά το psychedelic ambient space rock του, με κύριο χαρακτηριστικό την instrumental μορφή των συνθέσεων του όλα αυτά τα χρόνια!
Οι OZRIC TENTACLES μελετώντας πιστά τον ηλεκτρονικό ήχο της γερμανικής σκηνής (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze) και εντρυφώντας στην αγάπη τους για τους GONG, YES και GENESIS, μας προσφέρουν ένα συνονθύλευμα από ανατολίτικες μελωδίες με όμορφα κιθαριστικά μέρη γεμάτα με ονειρεμένα ατμοσφαιρικά θέματα!
