| Within Temptation: ''Don't Pray For Me'', νέο τραγούδι και video clip! |
Οι Ολλανδοί symphonic metal Within Temptation κυκλοφόρησαν το νέο τους single με τίτλο ''Don't Pray For Me''. Το νέο τραγούδι προβάλλει το κοινωνικοπολιτικό μήνυμα της κυριαρχίας των πράξεων μισαλλοδοξίας και αδικίας που κατακλύζουν τις ειδήσεις και είναι ένα τραγούδι διαμαρτυρίας ενάντια στην επιβολή πεποιθήσεων και την προβολή φόβων στους άλλους.
Tο "Don't Pray For Me" είναι το τέταρτο από τη σειρά σινγκλ που κυκλοφόρησαν οι Within Temptation το 2020 και το 2021. Τα τρία πρώτα σινγκλ "Entertain You", "The Purge" και "Shed My Skin", έγιναν επιτυχίες στα Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator Charts και ανέβηκαν στην κορυφή των επίσημων γερμανικών τσαρτ.
Το Ολλανδικό συγκρότημα δημιουργήθηκε τη δεκαετία του '90 και ήταν από τους πρωτεργάτες του gothic metal και στη συνέχεια ηγούνται του female metal κινήματος και κατάφερε να γίνει ένα από τα πιο επιτυχημένα συγκροτήματα στο σύγχρονο metal με περισσότερες από 4 εκατομμύρια πωλήσεις .
Με επικεφαλής την τραγουδίστρια Sharon Den Adel και τον σύζυγό της, κιθαρίστα της μπάντας, Robert Westerholt, το ολλανδικό συγκρότημα βοήθησε να μπει το συμφωνικό μέταλ στον χάρτη της μέταλ σκηνής , αλλά και και να καθιερωθεί ως υπολογίσιμη ροκ δυνάμη στα μεγάλα φεστιβάλ.
Το συγκρότημα είναι απασχολημένο με τη συγγραφή και την ηχογράφηση τραγουδιών για ένα νέο άλμπουμ που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει τον επόμενο χρόνο, το 2023, ενώ το 2022 θα συνεχίσει να περιοδεύει.
